New partnership helms The Alhambra

first_imgThe Ratkovich Co. has formed a new partnership with an affiliate of American International Group for the management and development of The Alhambra, a 45-acre, 1-million-square-foot mixed-use urban community at 1000 S. Fremont Ave. in Alhambra. The partnership purchased the interest of Connecticut General Life Insurance Co. for more than $200 million. The Ratkovich Co. acquired The Alhambra in 1999. The partnership will focus on the next phase of a master plan that includes building an LA Fitness center and more than 300 condominiums and townhouses. The Alhambra has 20 mid-rise office structures built around campus-like common areas.
