Part of travel expenses will be coveredDescriptionBecome now part of a Voluntary Work-camp in Slovakia that is part of project „Learn, Volunteer, Share“ financed by the Visegrad Fund. The camp being organized by C.A.R.D.O. will take place in Bratislava, Slovakia from September 16th – September 23th 2013.Voluntary camp will be organised as combination of educational and practical activities. All participants will have chance to learn about volunteering, European citizenship, Community work, Social inclusion and Cultural and Environmental diversity. Main focus will be on “learning by doing” and active participation in slovak days of voluntarism, cultural and community actions and workshops so all participants will gain new knowledge and skills from leaders, each other’s, beneficiaries and community.Activities: Education for camp participants on different topics; different workshops – better communication among people and inclusion of young people; Organisation and implementation of voluntary work action – within days of volunteerism it will be together with young people cleaning the environment; Insight into the action of other organizations; Option to be life book in the life library; Promotion of EVS and EU programmes and values that will contribute to the youth mobility and information, photo and video workshops etc.Eligibility10 volunteers will have the opportunity to be part of the voluntary work-camp! Participants will be young people from 18-30 years, gender balanced and interested in inter-cultural learning, volunteering, creative work and environmental and community youth work.BenefitsAll participants will gain new knowledge and skills via working with leaders and whilst working together.
