first_img1 Matty Taylor in action for Bristol Rovers In one of the shock deals of transfer deadline day, striker Matty Taylor has swapped Bristol Rovers for Bristol City for an undisclosed fee.Taylor, 26, had hit 67 goals in 132 appearances for Rovers before the controversial move and will now head to the Championship side.The player put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year deal, which has an option for a further year, and City boss Lee Johnson is delighted with his new signing.He said: “I think we’ve got ourselves a natural goalscorer. “It’s been interesting to watch his progress.
