Moto G (Gen 3) spotted in Flipkart listing
E-commerce retailer Flipkart has just listed the upcoming Moto G (Gen 3) on its site. Notably, Motorola itself is yet to unveil the new smartphone. Gadgetraid.com was the first to spot the listed smartphone. The listing is possibly not the official one, but a placeholder listing. Images of the device as well as most specifications of the smartphone have not been included in the listing. Flipkart is the official online partner for Motorola’s smartphones in India. The listing claims that the device will come with internal storage of 8GB and in the color White. It also claims that the model number of the Moto G (Gen 3) is AP3560AD1k8. Previously rumored specifications have claimed that the smartphone will be powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 SoC alongside 2GB RAM. It is touted to sport a 5 or 5.2-inch 1080p display. It is expected to be 4G LTE enabled. Notably, Motorola President, Rick Osterloh had said in March that the company wished to continue with its annual product cycle with all its handsets. What this means is that the next generation of the Moto G is likely to be launched sometime in September, keeping in line with tradition.
