That’s exactly what happened to Natalie Portman’s astronaut in the new trailer for director Noah Hawley’s movie Lucy in the Sky.In the first full trailer trailer released by Fox Searchlight today, Portman’s Lucy Cola, a NASA astronaut, has an awe-inspiring experience in outer space. Upon her return to Earth, however, she starts to lose touch with reality in a world that now seems too small.“I saw my house from space. Not literally, but my life,” Lucy can be heard in the trailer’s voiceover. Back home, she goes through life in a post-space haze.The movie also stars Ellen Burstyn as Lucy’s mother, Dan Stevens, as her husband, and Jon Hamm as a co-astronaut/potential love interest.‘Lucy in the Sky’ also stars Jon Hamm.
